Can you do me a favor?
On your tiny wings, can you carry
A message mammoth, full of love.
Is it a burden too big?
On your fragile wings, will it stay,
A load large, of gratitude.
Can you soar high enough?
On your papery wings, to heavens take
A weighty wish, to see their smiles.
Can you hover, plenty long?
On your delicate wings, for them to read
‘I miss you’, from your loving daughter.
Oh! Can you carry this message fine?
Gaze upon their visage, as they read this letter
I’ll be truly, Yours’ Indebted Forever.
